Baron & Grant Ambassadors in cricket
Baron & Grant (B&G) have a unique relationship with professional cricket and in particular Derbyshire CCC . Executive Director Tom Poynton played professionally for Derbyshire CCC for 10 years, and company CEO Chris Grant was Chairman of Derbyshire CCC for 6 years.
We would like to maintain our strong relationship to professional cricket and Derbyshire CCC and to that end we have sponsored wicketkeeper batsman, Harvey Hosein (pictured left), and one of Derbyshire’s finest ever players, Wayne Madsen (pictured right), for the 2021 county season.
Harvey and Wayne are consummate professionals and we are proud to be associated with them.
Alongside his cricket and with the support of B&G, Harvey has recently obtained the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) qualification through the CFA UK. The IMC is the benchmark entry-level qualification into the UK investment profession. Harvey is very proactive with his personal development and when the cricketing schedule allows, he works alongside Tom Poynton at B&G to build his experience in both financial advice and investment management.
